Brierley Methodist Church was formerly a Working Men's club and was opened in 1934 as a Methodist church when the Primitive Methodists and Wesleyans joined together.

A major refurbishment of the church and grounds completed in May 2012 now offer up-to-date facilities including projector and screen for presentations, flexible multi-purpose worship area with kitchenette, excellent facilities for the disabled, including a hearing aid loop, toilets and parking.

• Monday – Knit & Natter – 2pm to 3pm
• Tuesday – Brierley Sewing Bees – 5pm to 9pm
• Wednesday – Brierley Sewing Bees – 9am to 2pm
• Wednesday – Fitness Pilates 6pm to 7pm
• Wednesday – Contemporary Worship – (1st Weds  of the month) – 7pm to 8pm
• Wednesday – Bible Studesi (except 1st Weds of the month) – 7pm to 8pm
• Thursday – Pop-In Coffee Morning – 10.00 to 11.30am
• Thursday – Exodus Youth Group – 5pm to 9pm
• Friday – Line Dancing – 7pm to 9pm
