Darfield Wesley – Information about Worship Resources

Darfield Wesleyis a mature congregation and our worship is largely traditional. We host regular events including Coffee mornings and Nearly New Sales. We are part of Darfield Churches together, which arranges outreach events and fellowship and teaching opportunities. We are glad to help with requests for Baptism, Marriage or Funeral Services.

The mission of the Methodist Church- Barnsley South is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ by encouraging, resourcing and enabling the people and chapels of the area to serve their communities and the wider world

Weekly Activities:

Church Activities:

• Tuesday – Drop In Coffee Morning and Almost New Sale – 9.30am to 11.30am
• Tuesday – Brownies & Guides – 5pm to 9pm
• Wednesday (fortnightly) – Companions – 2pm to 3.30pm
• Saturday – (2nd & 4th weeks) – Coffee Morning 9.30am to 11.30 am and Almost New

Lettings:

• Monday – Barnsley Youth Swing Band – 4pm to 9pm
• Tuesday – Dearne Singers – 7pm to 9pm
• Wednesday (termtime) Toddlers 9.15am to 11.15 am
• Thursday – Barnsley Youth Jazz Orchestra 4.00pm to 7.00 pm
• Thursday – Dearne Big Band and Singers – 7.30pm to 10pm
• Friday (termtime) – Mums and toddlers – 9.15 to 11.15 am
