The building is well-used by the local community and they run regular events .

• Tuesday – Sharing Skills Craft Group – 2pm to 4pm
• Tuesday – Pilates – 7pm to 8pm
• Wednesday (every fortnight) – Good Companions Over 60's Club – 2pm to 4pm
• Wednesday – Old Silkstone Band – 8pm to 10pm
• Thursday (alternate) Tea Room – 10am to 12 noon
• Friday – Shake, Rattle and Roll – Mother & Toddler Music – 10am to 11am
• Sunday – Old Silkstone Band – 7pm to 9pm
