On 8th September we welcomed the Deputy Mayor of Barnsley to open the second Bereavement Drop-In for the Circuit.

Volunteers were pleased to welcome Councillor Tim Shepherd to open the Darfield Bereavement Drop-In. This comes 3 years after opening the first Drop-In in Monk Bretton.

The Monk Bretton Drop-In is open every Wednesday from 3.00pm to 5.00pm and the Drop-In at Darfield will be open on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 2.00pm to 4.00pm

These Drop-Ins are both staffed by volunteers and provide a space for people who are bereaved to come and spend time with others where they can be supported through what is a vulnerable time in their lives.
