Staincross Baptism before Lock down

The congregation at Staincross were delighted to welcome Natasha and her 3 daughters in baptism on 1st March. The family have been attending Staincross chapel for the last 5 years. When Natasha asked to become a member we realised that she had not been baptised and so we were able to offer her full immersion baptism using the new circuit portable baptistry before she then went on to be confirmed. This was a very significant event for Natasha and a moving experience for those who were part of the service. The girls were baptised using water from the baptistry but not by full immersion.

During lockdown Natasha and the girls have been making bright cards to send to their church family at Staincross. These have been very much appreciated and have brought smiles all round.
We all look forward to being able to meet again and share in worship and fellowship together.
