Webteam: July 2013
At one of their World Focus Meeting in April the churches in Darfield, Gt Houghton and Wombwell learnt about the work of Revd Benson Kimaru.
Benson has been working with villages in Kenya to provide water and is now wanting to help the communities by building a bridge across the river. This will connect the villages and make it much easier for people to get to the local market.
On Wednesday 17th July the churches met again and presented £2250 to the project.
This money will now be used to build the bridge which will make a significant difference to these communities
