Rule of 6

Here at Barnsley Methodist Circuit we are embracing the Rule of 6!

We are encouraging you all to create a group of six for fellowship and discussion. Your group can meet online, over the phone or in person – as long as you follow the current government guidelines!

Each week we will post your questions here to start your discussions. When you gather, consider the following:

7 Ways to Be a Better Listener
Stop whatever you're doing.
Look each other in the eye.
Pay attention not only to what each person is saying, but to the nonverbal messages.
Don't prepare your response while someone else is still speaking.
Don't interrupt.
Ask questions to encourage more conversation.
Check that you understood the speaker correctly.

After you have considered the 'set' questions (below) there may be value in you either individually or as a group each week reflecting upon (prior to and after) these questions:
· How have you seen God moving in your life since we last met?
· What challenges have you been facing since we last met?
· How is God calling you to move forward in the coming week?
